Entries in this index have been organized by the name of the country/claimant that comes first in the alphabet. The numbers preceeding each article title refer to the year and month of the International Boundary Monitor issue. Entries range from Afghanistan, through China, Ecuador-Peru, Japan-Russia, and Saudi Arabia-Yemen, to Zambia-Zimbabwe. Multilateral disputes, such as those contesting the Spratly Islands or Caspian Sea, are listed under those geographic names. In addition to being entered under the appropriate countries, the analytic Focus pieces are grouped together. Unless identified by "Focus" or "Primer" the entries in this index refer to one or two paragraph News Briefs, which often include interpretative comments. Back issues are available.
